One of David's most beloved songs, "It's In Every One Of Us", has been recorded time and again and sung all over the world in Churches, Corporate Seminars, Schools, Synagogues, Political Rallies, Weddings, Fundraisers and anywhere people gather for an uplifting purpose. "It's In Every One Of Us" was a major sponsor theme song to the Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea.

David's songwriting projects have earned him 22 platinum and 18 gold albums.

 


 

Feature Film and Television

David’s recent composition (co-written with Spencer and Judy Proffer), “The Art Of The Soul”, was featured in the 2008 Motion Picture Documentary, “As Seen Through These Eyes” perfomed by Sony/BMG artist, Anna Nalick (“Breathe”.) The film, narrated by Maya Anjelou, is produced by the Sundance Channel.

Big, the Movie - Tom HanksDavid’s other Motion Picture credits include songs for the Twentieth-Century Fox Motion Picture, "Big", starring Tom Hanks; Dino DeLaurenti’s version of “King Kong” (for which David co-wrote and produced the title song, with Oscar-winning composer, John Barry (recorded by Andy Williams); Paramount's "Man, Woman and Child", starring Martin Sheen, Lorimar's "Americathon" (in which David made a guest appearance) and Paul Schrader's "Patty Hearst" with Natasha Richardson. In 1997, David and film star, Steven Seagal co-wrote the song, "Long Way Around" featured in Seagal's Warner Bros. motion picture, "Fire Down Below" and performed by Richie Sambora).

David has written lyrics for seven brand new songs with Composer, Alan Willams for the upcoming Animated Feature, “The Princess And The Pea” scheduled for release in theaters in 2009..

will and graceAn Emmy Nominee for his sing work on Television, David has contributed songs for scores of Series’ and Specials including, “Boston Legal” (ABC), “Will And Grace” (NBC), “American Idol” (Fox), “Da Ali G. Show” (w/ “Borat” star, Sascha Baron Cohen). From 1986-1992, David’s was the voice heard each week singing the theme to the hit ABC series, "Perfect Strangers" and he was nominated for a "Best Song" Emmy Award for penning the lyrics to the CBS TV movie, "Homeward Bound".

boston legalOther notable TV accomplishments include composing the theme for the award-winning Hallmark children's series, "Zoobilee Zoo" (PBS) starring Ben Vereen, "Midnight Caller" (ABC); the 1997 Kellogg's animated special, "A Toucan Can" (with songs co-written by David and Oscar-winner, Al Kasha and starring Jason Alexander and Donna Summer), "Disney's Darkwing Duck" (ABC), "The Goodwill Games (Closing Ceremonies)" (TBS),"The Miss America Pageant" (CBS), "One Life To Live" (ABC) and Showtime’s “Elvis Presley’s Graceland, for which he composed the Score.
